Don't forget to turn in all required forms! MANDATORY PRACTICE begins TUESDAY AUGUST 8 AT 4p at Sandhills Extension.
Today is a "Long Run". Those athletes who join us at Sandhills Extension at 8a will be completing 5-7 miles based on experience, injury history and summer training volume. If you can't join us, challenge yourself with a long run on your own.
Over the weekend, try to accumulate 5-8 miles in 2 or 3 workouts. As always, your mileage should be based on your experience level, injury history and summer training volume. When in doubt, text Coach Lindman (734) 846-8120.
Remember to be safe if you are running without the team! Run on the left side of the road - sidewalks are the best option, and leave one headphone out so you can hear on-oncoming runners or cars, if running during dusk or dark, wear light colored clothing, reflective gear and/or a headlamp so others can see you!
